Revolution Choir Takes Political Songs with a Flavor of Political Satire

In 2019 the musical of The Revolution Choir will be turned into a musical. Performing at theaters in Portland, Oregon, the musical will feature songs such as Love is Love, Overworked and Underpaid, Climate Change, Equal Pay for Equal Work, Gerrymandering, Love Conquers Hate and so many others. Using all original compositions, Kevin Levy is the main songwriter for The Revolution Choir.

This musical will use entertainment to expose how money in politics greatly influences political power and getting money out of politics will be the very first step to end government corruption. Entertainment is a very powerful tool and has helped to elect our current president. Entertainment can also be used to change policy and create laws. Expect to see amazing aerialists, solid acting and beautiful singing from the Revolution Choir. With the name of the musical still in the creative process, Kevin Levy has already written parts to the screenplay with heart, humor and intensity in mind. Others from the Revolution Choir involved in the creative process include Mikaela Bailey, Ragon Linde and Stacey Marshall. Stay tuned as the Revolution Choir takes political songs with a flavor of political satire and turns it into a musical in hopes opening up peoples eyes to the influence of money in politics. A Broadway play in New York? Only the future knows that answer.
